MySpace exploration

I've got an account here and have managed to locate and connect with former school friends but prefer to use Facebook for ongoing interaction with friends and 'rellies'. The constant bombardment of ads I find really annoying!!

You Tube exploration

I've added a link to my son Alexander's graffiti pieces on You Tube. He does commissions for retail outlets like gymnasiums, bicycle shops, restaurants etc. in Whistler, the British Columbian ski resort in Canada. He also takes part in the summer festival street performances there and Pemberton. From his website he's picked up commissioned work in Australia, Los Angeles and Dubia. You Tube is a great way for me to keep in touch with what he's producing and also other things I like to follow such as what's happening in places I've lived or visited. Down the track I'll have a go at posting something myself.

skyping around engine

We had skype set up when my Dad was living with us so he could contact his numerous grandchildren living overseas but since then have switched to 'engine' which we find to be much cheaper. Some of our family and friends have switched to engine however for those who haven't except for the monthly fee it doesn't cost us anything.

Googling around

I frequently use google maps and find them very useful for locations, directions etc. Sharing google docs. could be useful when working off site or team acitivity but can't see using this feature in the immediate future. Anything to do with books really interests me so I'll be delving more into google books when the time is right.

e books audio unsuccessful download

This looks a very interesting site for me to revisit. I tried to down load onto my ipod but it musn't have been successful as I can't find it now. It would be good to have all the time in the world to explore and listen to everything that took my fancy.

Podcasting Play

I've downloaded an ABC LNL program to my computer and also my MP3 player. I now have to work out how to access it on my MP3 player as I'm not sure how to do a search on it!
